CHARLOTTE – Chapel Hill-based Titan Medical, which had been developing a robotic surgical system, has entered a license agreement with Intuitive Surgical for certain intellectual property the company owns.
The deal includes an upfront payment of $7.5 million.
Titan also announced CEO Cary Vance will step down effective June 1.
