CHARLOTTE – Todd Olson, CEO of emerging software tech giant Pendo, failed to get backing from Topsail Beach officials when the town’s planning board unanimously voted against rezoning nearly 30 acres on the island’s southernmost tip.
Olson is under contract to purchase “The Point,” about 150 acres of coastline. Topsail’s board of commissioners will have final say.
