CHARLOTTE – Raleigh’s Helix Ventures purchased a 266-acre parcel in Lee County for $1.5 million from Fayetteville’s Bullard Trailer Sales No. 2 Inc. The land has access to CSX Corp. and Norfolk Southern rail lines.
Attracting a megasite to Lee County would increase the boom occurring along the U.S. Highway 1 corridor from Raleigh down to Pinehurst.
