RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – BioCryst Pharmaceuticals has named longtime board member Nancy Hutson to replace the late Bob Ingram as its board chairman.
Ingram died a week ago.
Hutson has served on the BioCryst board since 2012.
“I am honored to succeed Bob Ingram. He was a model of effective board leadership for us. Our board is comprised of exceptional people with diverse experience and I am excited to continue working alongside them and the management team to deliver innovative new therapies to patients with rare diseases,” Hutson said in a statement..
Dr. Hutson retired from Pfizer in 2006.
