SBIR Training: Winston-Salem

March 22, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. @Forsyth Tech at Innovation Quarter

This statewide training series will equip small businesses with the resources and tools they need to apply for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards. Events will be held in Fayetteville, Wilmington, Winston-Salem and Boone.

HKY4Vets Virtual Hiring Event

March 22, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (online)

This hiring event will be geared toward transitioning military and military spouse talent, recent alumni and rising juniors/seniors at local universities/colleges. The program will also include participation from employers across Catawba, Burke, Caldwell, Alexander, Lincoln and McDowell counties.

Application Deadline: NCBiotech’s Flash Grant Program

March 22, 12 p.m.

For its Flash Grant program, the North Carolina Biotech Center is looking for innovative life science technology ideas with commercial potential. Up to $20,000 may be requested.

Open Source 101 2023

March 23, 8:45 a.m. – 5 p.m. @UNC Charlotte’s Dubois Center

Hosted by All Things Open, this full-day conference will provide education and guidance covering open source, open web and open tech topics.

SBIR Training: Boone

Winston Starts 2023 Investor Forum
