BOONE – ECR Software, or ECRS, has landed a new partnership with the publicly-traded company United Natural Foods, Inc.
Under the agreement, announced in a statement this week, the firm’s new and existing CATAPULT® retail users to leverage the UNFI Professional Services suite, including digital coupons and third-party delivery services.
The agreement also formalizes a relationship under electronic data interchange and will give UNFI associates automation technology training, according to the announcement.
“UNFI provides a great deal of technological services at a scale that can give our mutual retail customers tremendous leverage in the marketplace,” said Pete Catoe, ECRS Founder and CEO. “This agreement allows ECRS to play an active role in ensuring our UNFI customers can take full advantage of these competitive differentiators. ECRS has been working closely with UNFI for over two decades, and we are very appreciative of the organization and its people.”
The Boone-based ECRS hosts more than 2,000 accounts under electronic data interchange within the UNFI customer network, with more than half a million transactions expected in 2023, the company noted.
Earlier this year, Boone startup AvSight closed $20 million in new funding.
