Following is a list of events across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle area through the end of February. Many events will be held in person, as some organizers are returning to a live format.

2023 FREEDM Research Symposium

The annual FREEDM Research Symposium convenes students, faculty, industry and community leaders for two days of keynotes, poster presentations, networking and a lab tour.

Taking the Leap

Offered by the Small Business and Technology Development Center, Taking the Leap is a free four-week cohort covering the ins and outs of starting a business, including identifying target markets, writing business plans, running finances and brand marketing.

Duke Sustainable Business & Social Impact Conference

Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business will host its 18th Sustainable Business and Social Impact Conference, an annual event that convenes students, alumni and professionals to discuss business models and other topics around social impact and sustainability.
