RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – IBM has reached a settlement with eight former workers who had sued the tech giant in an age discrimination case.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
Eight other employees’ claims were rejected, according to Bloomberg Law.
Law 360 also reported on the settlement.
The suits focused on alleged “fire-and-hire” allegations that were intended to help IBM build a younger workforce.
