High Point-based fiber provider plans $100M investment in SC

HIGH POINT – Lumos, a fiber optic internet provider based in High Point, is making a $100 million investment in South Carolina to further expand its network footprint.

It’s the company’s first investment in that state.

Lumos is targeting Richland and Lexington Counties for nearly 1,200 miles of fiber.
