RALEIGH – The recruitment process outsourcing provider Personify has been acquired by the Tampa, Florida headquartered WilsonHCG, the companies announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Personify provides services to firms in the life science, healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceuticals sector and is headquartered in Raleigh.

“Personify is one of the largest healthcare and life sciences RPO providers in the world, so this expansion enables continued growth while cementing our position as a global leader in talent acquisition,” said John Wilson, CEO of WilsonHCG in a statement. “The partnership aligns two mission-driven organizations with a desire to exceed client expectations.”

Wilson noted that the two companies, combined, would “set new standards in the talent space” and described the deal as “exciting.”

WilsonHCG bought two other companies in 2022, including the South African company Tracking Talent and Claro Analytics, a labor market analytics platform.

The Triangle’s labor market continues to be quite competitive as employers are seeking talented, skilled workers to fill nearly 300,000 advertised jobs, according to the latest WRAL TechWire Jobs Report.

Personify was among 15 North Carolina companies that appeared on a “Best Places to Work” list last year.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
