RALEIGH – Jay Blandford, who was president of Raleigh-based fintech firm Sageworks when it was acquired by Abrigo in 2018, is the new CEO of that company.

Blandford replaced Wayne Roberts, who has retired.

“During my tenure at Abrigo, I am most proud of the work we have done to empower U.S. financial institutions by giving them the technology and services they need to support their communities,” Blanford said in the announcement, which was made Monday. “As CEO, I look forward to continuing to champion our customers and to drive investment in our products and people to help our customers win.”
