HBCU Virtual Hackathon Competition

Nov. 11–15 @Johnson C. Smith University (& online)

BlkTech Interactive will host a startup weekend-style event that brings together HBCU students, faculty and community members to develop solutions for improving health outcomes, education and community violence. The program culminates in a pitch event where teams compete for a $3,000 prize, national media coverage, coaching and more.

 

 

 

UNCW Mentor Madness

Hosted by UNC Wilmington’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, this speed mentoring program aims to connect entrepreneurs with startup advisors.

Application Deadline: Launch Greensboro Capital Connects 2023

Nov. 20

Applications are open for next year’s edition of Launch Greensboro Capital Connects, scheduled for March 15. The event offers cash and in-kind prizes to seed-stage and Series A-stage companies through two pitch competitions.

Held every week, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community.

DANC Science & Technology Forum: ECU DoD Research Showcase

The Defense Alliance of NC and East Carolina University will host an event with researchers sharing insights on a range of projects, from human performance to biomechanics to prolonged casualty care.

Asheville Pitch Party

This open mic-style event is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to share short pitches with an audience of peers in the Asheville area. Tickets are free and open to the public.
