RALEIGH – Triangle employers continue to seek talented workers to fill thousands of open roles in the region, including more than 3,600 roles at 26 notable companies with a presence in the region.  And even though job openings at these 26 companies have fallen by nearly 200 open jobs since last week, most of the drop came from Google’s job postings, which dropped from 371 openings last week to 271 openings this week.

Here’s the latest on Triangle job openings at some of the region’s most notable employers.

Job openings abound at the Triangle’s leading technology employers. Here’s how many are available as of Monday morning, with any significant week-over-week changes noted:

  • Amazon: 104 job openings in the Triangle, though some roles can be done remotely, according to the company’s career page
  • *Apple (corporate roles): 95 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page
  • Bandwidth: 35 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • *Cisco: 212 job openings in Research Triangle Park, according to the company’s career page
  • *Citrix: 25 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • *Eli Lilly: 41 job openings in Research Triangle Park, according to the company’s career page
  • Fidelity Investments: 582 job openings in Durham (up 12 from last week), according to the company’s career page
  • *FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies: 74 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page
  • *Google: 271 jobs openings in Durham (down 100 from last week), according to the company’s career page, and 13 with Google Fiber 
  • IBM: 1 job opening in RTP, according to the company’s career page, though the company reported quarterly earnings in July and did say it would continue to hire earlier this month.
  • *IQVIA: 452 job openings in RTP, according to the company’s career page
  • Kyndryl: 118 job openings in RTP (down 13 from last week), according to the company’s career page, up from 113 openings a week ago.
  • *Labcorp: 266 job openings in Burlington (headquarters), according to the company’s career page
  • Lenovo: 320 job openings in Morrisville, according to the company’s career page
  • MetLife: 135 job openings in Cary, according to the company’s career page.  MetLife told WRAL TechWire last week that it planned to hire 400 workers by New Year’s Day.
  • Microsoft: 27 job openings in Raleigh (down from 37 last week), according to the company’s career page
  • *NetApp: 169 job openings in the Triangle (down 14 jobs from last week), according to the company’s career page
  • *Novo Nordisk: 178 jobs in the Triangle (down from 193 openings last week, according to the company’s career page
  • *Novartis: 8 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page
  • Pendo: 6 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • Red Hat: 26 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page, up from 9 openings last week.  Red Hat is owned by IBM.
  • RTI International: 144 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page
  • SAS: 150 job openings in Cary, according to the company’s career page
  • *Wolfspeed: 198 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page.  The company reported quarterly and annual earnings last week and CEO Gregg Lowe confirmed to WRAL TechWire that the company is considering at least one possible site location in North Carolina for an expansion project that could easily be in excess of $1 billion.
