Held every week, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community.

1 Million Cups Wilmington

This weekly event brings together entrepreneurs in the Wilmington and Cape Fear community to gather for coffee, casual startup pitches and conversation.

Triad BioNight 2022

June 23, 6-9 p.m. @Qubein Arena and Conference Center

This event will present awards to various biotechnology leaders in the Piedmont Triad region. It will also reveal the winner of the BIONEER Venture Challenge competition. More TechWire coverage here.

Hendersonville Pitch Party

June 28, 5 p.m. @Southern Appalachian Brewery

This open mic-style event is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to share short pitches with an audience of peers. The best and most creative pitches will win prizes.

Electrification 2022

June 28-30 @Charlotte Convention Center

Hosted by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), this annual conference brings together thought leaders and innovators to discuss topics pertinent to the electrification space. This year’s event will focus on how to work together to meet deep decarbonization targets through a customer-focused clean energy transition.

Application Deadline: One NC Small Business Program Grants

The latest round of One North Carolina Small Business Program grants will provide $5 million to emerging technology companies across the state, working in conjunction with the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs.

Application Deadline: RevTech Labs Accelerator (Fall 2022)

June 30

Applications are live for RevTech Labs’ 14-week accelerator for post-revenue fintech and insurtech startups. Participants get access to a network of mentors, venture partners, and leading financial services and insurance firms. Though RevTech Labs is based in Charlotte, it seeks startups from across the U.S. and Canada for its 17th cohort.
