RALEIGH – Spotit, a cybersecurity firm in Belgium, has opened an office at N.C. State’s Centennial Campus. And the company is looking to add as many as 100 jobs paying an average of $90,000.

A listing at the company’s website confirms the office opening.

The expansion was announced Wednesday morning.

The company’s offerings are designed to:

“Protect against the attacks of today.
“Prepare for the threats of tomorrow.”

Why Raleigh?

“We really think Raleigh will be the next big thing in tech,” Spotit CEO Steven Vynckier told The Triangle Business Journal. He noted recent investments by Microsoft and Google. Other teach firms expanding in the region include Apple.

The exec also noted Cisco, which operates a huge tech hub in Research Triangle Park, said, is a partner.
