CHARLOTTE – Organizers for the 2022 Outlook for Tech conference have released this year’s program agenda. This annual event, hosted by the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH), will take place on Friday, March 4 at the UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and will include executive breakout panel sessions, a luncheon program and exhibit showcase. Some highlights for the day include:
  • Morning panel discussions. Topics include: “Cybersecurity: It’s All About the (Us)er” and “Remote Work: Trends and Tools for the Future.”
  • A Predictions Outlook: This Is The Year For Tech Leaders To Be Bold with Sharyn Leaver, Senior Vice President – Research – Forrester.
  • An Industry Outlook: The State of Cyber Resilience with Mike Monday, North American Banking Security Lead – Accenture.
  • An Employment Outlook: How Data-Driven Recruiting Is Disrupting the Hiring Process with Fatma Mili, Dean – UNC Charlotte College of Computing + Informatics, Reenie Askew, CIO – City of Charlotte, and Amy Braswell, Deputy CISO – TIAA.
  • The release of NC TECH’s annual North Carolina State of Technology Industry Report, which provides a comprehensive snapshot of the state’s tech sector. Ted Abernathy with Economic Leadership, LLC will discuss key findings and highlight where NC ranks nationwide in key innovation metrics.
