MORRISVILLE – Syneos Health (Nasdaq:SYNH) has bought RxDataScience in another deal to expand its service offerings.
It’s the second acquisition that Syneos has made in the prior four weeks. In mid-September it acquired StudyKik.
“This acquisition boosts our ability to deliver strategic insights and technology-enabled solutions that address our customers’ most complex data challenges,” said Alistair Macdonald, CEO of Syneos Health in a statement announcing the RxDataScience deal.
RxDataScience built a scalable platform for biopharmaceutical companies to ” transform vast volumes of data into strategic, actionable insights,” the statement reads. Syneos said in its statement that following the acquisition, the company “will offer biopharma customers technology-enabled, insights-powered solutions with the aim of accelerating performance across the product lifecycle – from lab to life.”
