RALEIGH – Startup Grind is indeed seeking new leadership in the Triangle, the organization confirmed to WRAL TechWire in an email earlier this week.

According to a spokesperson, the organization has two upcoming enrollment periods for would-be candidates to join a cohort of chapter directors.

Directors receive training, the spokesperson noted, in the format of weekly webinars, learning deliverables, and discussions.  The organization provides virtual event resources and conferencing tools, added the spokesperson.

“A majority of our chapters have transitioned to [virtual events] during the pandemic,” the spokesperson wrote.

She also noted in the email that Flywheel now only operates the Winston-Salem chapter of the organization, but has taken a break on programming.
