RALEIGH – Hitachi Energy will be the new name for the merged Hitchachi ABB Power Grids, a deal that happened in 2020.
The new name takes effect in October as part of a rebranding, Anthony Allard, executive vice president of North American operations at the company, told the Triangle Business Journal.
The merged entity operates a big R&D facility at NCSU’s Centennial Campus.
