RALEIGH – Tryon Solutions, a supply chain consulting firm based in Raleigh, is spinning out a new company, Cycle Labs, that will operate as an independent software and services company.
The new company will market and provide technology known as Cycle Automation, an automated testing platform that is currently used by some Fortune 500 companies, will focus on modernizing enterprise software deployment and help companies innovate, according to a statement issued by the company earlier this month.

“The combination of the Cycle platform technology and a global partner network makes Cycle Labs the best option to enable organizations to innovate, accelerate change, and to speed up digital transformation,” said Josh Owen, cofounder and CEO of Cycle Labs, in a statement.
The move to spin out the company was one made “doubling down” on the company’s mission to leverage modern tools and practices with the company’s technology solutions, Owen said.
Tryon Solutions holds a patent on its automation technology, according to the company’s website. The company states that the technology and software is easy for all stakeholders within an organization to use, allowing business process experts from a wide range of technical backgrounds to create and complete tests through recording desktop or terminal user actions.
Companies use the technology for system validation, conduct acceptance or regression testing, provide user training, and complete process documentation, as well as other uses, according to the company’s website. The platform provides HTML reports that can display activity that occurred during a test’s execution, the company website states, and it can also be sent directly via an email summary report.
The company last updated its software in April 2021, with the release of Cycle 2.8.
