ROLESVILLE – Broadband service provider Ting is rolling out fiber-optic based internet access in Rolesville, making it the fourth “Ting Town” in the Triangle region.

Tin Internet also offers service in Wake Forest, Fuquay Varine and Holly Springs.

“We are thrilled to be launching our fiber internet service here in Rolesville; our fourth Ting Town in North Carolina,” said Todd Rubin, Regional Manager for Ting Internet, in the announcement. “Now, more than ever, we know how necessary it is to access robust and reliable internet. There has been such anticipation and support from this community and we’re excited to be here.”

Ting is part of Tucows (Nasdaq: TCX).

The expansion provides more high-speed internet access competition across the Triangle. Other providers include AT&T, Google Fiber, Frontier, CenturyLink, Spectrum and more.

Ting launched service in Holly Springs four years ago and has expanded steadily since then.

“High speed internet is especially beneficial as more and more residents are working from home, and businesses depend on fast, reliable service to conduct commerce,” said Ronnie Currin, mayor of Rolesville, in a statement. “We welcome Ting to Rolesville and are excited that Ting Internet will be available to our residents and businesses.”
