Every week, we add new resources to keep content fresh and relevant. Today’s update features new additions to the COVID-19 Resources section and Free Events and Meetups section of the guide:
COVID-19 Resources for Businesses
- We added a line for this resource page from the City of Raleigh’s Office of Economic Development and Innovation, which covers small business safety guidelines, updates on eased restrictions, funding, webinars on COVID-19 topics, and more information.
- We added an update to include last week’s executive order by NC Gov. Roy Cooper to lift some occupancy restrictions and gathering limits.
Free Events and Meetups
We added a listing for the new Raleigh-Durham Startups Clubhouse, a twice-monthly series featuring the stories of local entrepreneurs. Jessica Mitsch of Momentum Learning and Adam Klein of American Underground decided to launch a regular Clubhouse series after seeing high levels of interest at last month’s Steve Case/Revolution Clubhouse.
Sessions, held on Fridays at 12 p.m., will feature a Triangle-area entrepreneur sharing how they launched and scaled their startup, as well as a featured resource and two pitches from local startups.
The first event is set for April 16 from 12-1 p.m. It will include a discussion with Pendo Co-Founder Eric Boduch and pitches from Tiny Earth Toys Founder Rachael Classi and YAP! Founder Zainab Baloch.
