CARY – Trilliant, a provider of various smart grid and utility solutions, is expanding its footprint by acquiring Colombia-based PrimeStone, a provider of data analytics.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal was announced Tuesday.

“PrimeStone has developed an incredible set of data solutions that complements and enhances the power of Trilliant’s existing technology and is only enhanced by their dynamic team that is dedicated to excellence,” says Andrew White, chairman and CEO of Trilliant. “This strategic acquisition expands Trilliant’s ability to provide customers with an end-to-end solution that not only provides immediate value to their end users, but allows for deeper insight into their business, ultimately creating new avenues for data-backed decision making.”

PrimeStone works with clients across Latin America, the U.S. and Canada as well as Africa and Asia.
