WRAL TechWire has been making weekly updates to keep content fresh and relevant in our exclusive Triangle Startup Guide.
Last week, we added three more resources to the competitions/grants/more funding section of the guide:
- In the COVID-19 resources section of the page, we added some links to information on North Carolina’s phase 2.5 reopening plan, which took effect on September 4.
- We added NC IDEA’s ECOSYSTEM grant program, which supports non-profit and for-profit organizations that are using innovative methods to boost North Carolina’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly for underrepresented entrepreneurs. The Fall 2020 application deadline is October 9.
- We also added UNC-Chapel Hill’s Dreamers-Who-Do Award program, which provides funding to support UNC-Chapel Hill student entrepreneurs as they enter the proof-of-concept process. Average awards range from $100 to $1,000. The next application deadline is October 21.
As always, if we missed a resource that you think we should add, please don’t hesitate to submit it for inclusion. You can email me directly, tweet me @shannoncuthrell or use this contact form.
