DURHAM — NC TECH has postponed its Diversity and Inclusion Summit, which was scheduled for this Friday, in the wake of public health concerns around the coronavirus.

The postponement is the latest in a series of tech events affected by the coronavirus, including events planned by Red Hat, SAS and IBM.

The conference is now expected to take place on June 23. The timing, location and speaker line-up will remain the same.

“Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause,” said an NC TECH spokesperson. “We’ll be in touch with any further updates as we receive them, and will follow up as the date in June approaches.”
