More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing their businesses is available from WRAL TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide. The local startup community is constantly growing—prompting regular updates and additions to the guide.

Here’s a quick summary of what we added last week:

  • We made four new additions to our interactive map of incubators and coworking spaces:
    • Venture X Durham – Frontier RTP – Located within Frontier RTP, Venture X offers flexible coworking for entrepreneurs, startups and small- to medium- sized companies. The space includes shared and dedicated desks, private offices, meeting rooms, a lounge area with a cafe, as well as a separate wellness room.
    • Alexandria Center for AgTech – LaunchLabs – Alexandria Center for AgTech’s LaunchLabs facility is an office and laboratory space with shared equipment and dedicated services tailored for agtech companies. Some of its offerings include a high-tech greenhouse space, creative amenities, curated programming and management advisory services, a restaurant and coffee shop, and a fitness center with on-site wellness coaches.
    • Office Evolution Cary – In a convenient location across the street from SAS and minutes away from the Raleigh-Durham International airport, Office Evolution Cary offers private offices, micro-offices, conference rooms and a shared workspace.
    • Office Evolution Raleigh – Located just outside of north Raleigh’s Crabtree Valley Mall, Office Evolution Raleigh offers a shared coworking space, private offices, micro-offices and meeting spaces.
  • We also added two more listings to our inspiration/advice/more resources page:

Reader survey: We want your feedback

Because we consider the guide as a living document that’s flexible to expand as needed, we’d like to solicit your feedback on how we can make the guide better. We also want to get your feedback on our interactive events calendar and weekly events column (linked at the bottom of this post).

Here are our questions to you:
  1. What do you like about the Triangle Startup Guide? What do you not like?
  2. What are we missing?
  3. What can we add or change that will encourage you to share it more with friends and colleagues?
  4. How can we make it easier for you to submit information?
  5. Do you find the calendar useful? How can it be improved?
  6. What do you like/not like about our event previews? Are they helpful?
  7. Beyond our meetup lists, calendar and event previews, what would you like to see for our coverage to be more meaningful?
  8. Would you like to see a startup guide for other regions in North Carolina?
  9. Did you find the Triangle Spaces Map to be useful?
  10. Is there a particular section of the guide you think should be expanded? Do you have an idea for a new section?

Please send us any comments and feedback you might have. You can also email me directly or use this contact form. If we missed a resource you think should be added, please don’t hesitate to submit it for inclusion.

More resources: Weekly calendar package

If you’re interested in keeping up with the latest local events, check out our list of February events in the Triangle. We also have a list of upcoming events happening in other regions across North Carolina, covering the Triad, Charlotte, Asheville and western NC, Wilmington and the coast.

Each week, we also break out events coming up “on the horizon” a month out – such as our March calendar listings. And we’ve put together a list of 140 Triangle meetups.

These columns accompany our interactive calendar, which is updated every few days with new events held across North Carolina.
