RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Lenovo’s Data Center Group, which is based in RTP and is built around the former IBM x86 server business it acquired several years ago, is getting a new channel sales leader, according to news site CRN.
Joining Lenovo is Steve Biondi, a long-time industry veteran who has worked at Avaya, Oracle, VMware and IBM.
Lenovo would not confirm that the existing channel sales leader, Stefan Bockhop, is leaving. Bockhop has spent more thana decade with Lenovo, according to CRN.
