RALEIGH – Pendo, one of the Triangle’s fastest-growing technology startups, is back with its popular annual conference focused on product experience design.

Now in its third year, Pendomonium is meant to be a gathering place for marketers, user experience designers, and product managers and teams. Last year’s event brought in a sold-out crowd.

Opening Tuesday, the two-day conference, slated for the Raleigh Convention Center, features around 40 panels, talks and workshops within four tracks: Pendo best-practices, collaboration and connection, product design and execution, and product strategy and leadership. The agenda includes plenty of breaks for networking between sessions.

The headlining keynote speakers are Dan Ariely, a Duke University behavior economics professor and founder of the research lab Center for Advanced Hindsight, and Vivian Howard, owner of Kinston restaurant Chef & the Farmer and host of PBS cooking show A Chef’s Life. Though they’ve made a name for themselves in separate fields, Ariely and Howard share a reputation for their expertise in customer experience.

The speaker lineup is a fusion of startup founders, corporate executives, product managers and design experts hailing from national firms such as Adobe, Netflix, LabCorp, Drift and Rapid7. Local experts from Citrix and Dude Solutions are also featured on the speaker roster.

A few authors are included in the mix too, including Dan Olsen, author of The Lean Product Playbook, and April Dunford, author of Obviously Awesome: How to Nail Product Positioning so Customers Get It, Buy It, Love It.

Pendomonium 2019 is hset for September 10-11, fitting between two extra days of optional “add-on” conference sessions. On September 9, attendees can participate in a series of training sessions led by Pendo’s professional services team. On September 12, company teams can regroup after the main conference and discuss ways to adopt the strategies presented in the conference.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite. General admission is $799 and group tickets are $699. Attendees can follow along using the hashtag #Pendomonium19.
