Keeping up with WRAL TechWire’s continued initiative to track events happening across North Carolina, here’s look at what’s to come in June:

Application Deadline: Appalachian Leadership Institute Fellowship

June 1

This nine-month leadership program involves extensive training, skills-learning, seminars, field visits and more programming for people who live and/or work in Appalachia.

Application Deadline: Center for Creative Economy Velocity Accelerator

June 2

Velocity, a new nine-week accelerator from the Center for Creative Economy in Winston-Salem, delivers one-on-one online and in-person programming with mentors. The accelerator culminates on a five-day session on site, followed by a pitch competition and demo night.

Open Raleigh Brigade Demo Night

June 4, 6-8 p.m. @HQ Raleigh

The Open Raleigh Brigade is an ongoing meetup for technologists, designers, developers, data scientists, map makers and project managers to come together to collaborate on civic projects. In this Demo Night, members will be showcasing the projects they’ve been working on since March.

1 Million Cups CLT

June 5, 8:30-10 a.m.

Held every month, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community. Free coffee is included.

Leadership NC: Innovation Quarter Tour & Presentation
