CARY – A tweet via the official Fortnite feed at Twitter today seems to be dropping a pretty powerful hint that the Epic Games mega hit will have a tie-in with the forthcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Endgame.”

“Whatever it takes,” the tweet reads. The tweet drew more than 3 million viewers for an accompanying video in the first few hours.

It includes a date: 4.25.19.

Then references: #FortniteXAvengers

That leads to a Twitter feed promising:

“Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup | PLAY NOW

“Wield the Gauntlet. Become Thanos. The battle begins now!”

The new Marvell superhero movie premiers on the 26th.

Epic has included the Avengers in Fortnite before, that coming in May 18 featuring mega bad guy Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet.

The news came hours after Epic disclosed that it had expelled some 1,200 players for cheating in an on-going Fortnite tournament.

Last week, Epic also added what it pomorsed were security improvements for players.
