Larger Than Life Science is coming up! With this month’s theme “Think Outside”, LaunchBio explores how a unique perspective can spark innovation for the benefit of human health and well-being.

To kick off the evening’s programming, LaunchBio is bringing in Joe and Terry Graedon, hosts of the long-running NPR show, “The People’s Pharmacy”. They have made their careers helping consumers make sense of complex healthcare and wellness news through teaching, writing and broadcasting. This fireside chat will be moderated by LaunchBio’s own, Joan Siefert Rose.

The second presentation of the night, “The Ins and Outs” highlights FDA strategy for early-stage biopharma companies. The discussion will center on IP due diligance and will be led by Charles Andres, associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

Attorneys from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati will be “On Call” throughout the evening and invite anyone with follow-up legal questions to find them on the mezzanine level.

The final panel of the night “Reaching Milestones”, showcases startup success stories with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. Learn about NC BIotech’s 30 year history of investing into ideas and its role in the recent success of BioMASON, Locus Biosciences and FLAG Therapeutics.

Throughout the event in the atrium, Triangle Land Conservancy will be offering their Wild Ideas! program in the atrium. Learn what wild foods can be foraged locally. Cook, taste and gain a new appreciation for your own backyard.

Larger Than Life Science | Think Outside runs from 4-7 p.m. on March 7. Tickets to the event are free on Eventbrite.
