ASHEVILLE — Podcraft, which helps podcasters produce and market audio shows, has raised $144,999 of a $220,000 equity round, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company produces 1,300 podcasts currently, according to its web site.

It says it will produce and distribute a podcast in less than 36 hours.

Dan Radin, founder and CEO, is a 15-year veteran in the audio industry, with more than 75 professional and consumer audio technology products under his belt, including with Sennheiser, Alesis, SteelSeries, and JBL / Mark Levinson / Harman (a Samsung company).

It offers several plans for turning raw recordings into professional podcasts, including a $20 demo.
