CHARLOTTE— Charlotte-based analytics technology company Isolved HCM has agreed to purchase Sage Payroll Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction is expected to be completed within the next three months.

iSolved HCM is a human management technology company that brings together the key workforce functions, which include payroll, attendance and benefits, in its platform ISolved.

ISolved HCM was originally a division of technology company Infinisource. It spun off into a separate company in 2014 under the leadership of current CEO David Dawson.

“ISolved HCM has experienced phenomenal growth over the last few years, and this acquisition dramatically expands the users and businesses who trust ISolved for their workforce management needs,” said Dawson in a statement

Sage Payroll Solutions is a U.S.-based business of the The Sage Group, a software company based in the United Kingdom.

Sage Payroll Solutions includes more than 44,000 small to midsized companies as customers through both direct sales and licensees, which will extend the ISolved technology to more than 145,000 employers once the transaction has completed.
