DURHAMLaunchBio celebrated its final Larger Than Life Science program for the year in style with a comedy sketch, “glitter beer” and a panel discussion on building great teams.

More than 300 packed into the The Chesterfield in Durham for the event, which included lineup of speakers including Claire Cormier of Full Scale Solutions, Mike Nicholson of Precision BioSciences, Ostra Jewel of Dova Pharmaceuticals, Sabrina Osborne of Humacyte, and Jim Bishop of Altavant Sciences.

Science comedians Brian Malow, Marla Broadfoot and Karl Bates were also on hand to keep the crowed amused, while friends at the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science created a walk-through planetarium.

The event was produced in partnership with Full Scale Solutions, Museum of Life & Science, Science Communicators of North Carolina (SCONC), Solis BrightLeaf, author Iris Gottlieb and Durty Bull Brewing Company to produce this event.
