Webb appears ready for the new role.

“I am very excited to join the Devada team and to build on the success that the business has seen over the past several years’’ he said in a statement.

“Developers are critical to both technology and technology-enabled businesses, and they crave user-generated content to drive value for their organizations. Devada’s unique offering enables these developers while also providing relevant marketers with access to this valuable and information-driven segment.’’

Devada, formerly known as DZone, recently became the anchor tenant at the newest building in The Frontier in RTP. Many of the leading tech companies in the world, including IBM, Pixar, Mulesoft, and Microsoft, power their developer communities with Devada’s Answerhub.

Dzone.com is a global resource for developers to learn and share best practices and for marketers to reach that audience. It contains over 100,000 expert-contributed technical articles and is visited by nearly three million developers every month.

Earlier this year, Inc. Magazine named Devada (then DZone) one of the fastest growing private companies for the fifth consecutive year. And in early November,  the company’s made a second appearance on Deloitte Technology Fast 500TM list.
