Here’s a preview for the lineup of Triangle events happening in the next month, including some conferences and summits, a handful of lunch and learns, several educational workshops and plenty of networking. The roundup also features application deadlines for competitions, grants and accelerators.

Application Deadline: NC IDEA LABS Fall 2018 Cohort 1
August 13, 5 p.m.

NC IDEA seeks a new round of entrepreneurs for the fall 2018 cohorts of its LABS program, a four-week business development program covering important topics from customer discovery to business model strategy to product-market fit and more. Applications for the first cohort of the fall 2018 program are due August 13. Applications for the second cohort are due on September 10.

NC IDEA SEED: Putting Your Best Foot Forward (RTP Info Session)
August 13, 5-6 p.m. @The Frontier

Applications are open for NC IDEA’s next round of startup grants. At this info session, NC IDEA will present the SEED program requirements and share tips on what makes a solid application. NC IDEA SEED applications will open on August 20 and close on September 10.

Raleigh Chamber Healthcare Forum 2018
August 14, 8-10 a.m. @Raleigh Convention Center

Executives at Raleigh’s three large healthcare systems will discuss the evolution of healthcare in the Triangle. The speakers are UNC REX President Steve Burriss, WakeMed Health & Hospitals President and CEO Donald Gintzig, and Duke Raleigh Hospital President Dr. David Zaas.
