LaunchBio Larger Than Life Science
July 5, 4-7 p.m. @The Chesterfield

Meet local VCs, get tips on growing your company and network with fellow members of the life science community at the Larger Than Life Science events series, presented by LaunchBio. This monthly event will feature a selection of workshops, speaking sessions, meetings with investors, panel talks, office hours and group activities. Entrance is free-of-charge.

Venture Café Thursday Gathering
July 5, 5-8 p.m. @Bailey Power Plant in Winston-Salem

Held on a weekly basis, this Venture Café event series provides all sorts of programming for Piedmont Triad entrepreneurs and innovators. Every Thursday evening, the community gathers for networking, panel talks, workshops, presentations, product demos, interviews, and more.

Flywheel Idea Tap

Idea Tap is an opportunity for local startups to present their products/services to an audience and receive feedback on how to refine their pitches. The format involves: a five-minute pitch, a five-minute Q&A and five minutes of audience feedback. This monthly event is always free.

In this monthly networking event, participants can meet and connect with other entrepreneurs and companies in the science and technology space.

Charlotte PitchBreakfast: Quarterly IDEA Fund Pitch

July 11, 8-11 a.m. @The Garage at Packard Place

Every month, a handful of Queen City-based companies headline Charlotte PitchBreakfast, pitching their products and services for a total of five minutes, after which they will answer questions from the audience and a panel of entrepreneurs and experts.

IDEA PITCH is a quarterly version of the PitchBreakfast series, which includes panel participation from IDEA Fund Partners, the most active venture capital firm in North Carolina as named by CB Insights. The format of this quarterly series will remain the same as any other PitchBreakfast event, except entrepreneurs will sum up their pitches in a two-minute elevator pitch instead of a full presentation.

NC IDEA Summer School Series: Creating Authenticity with Margaret McNab
