We’re keeping an eye on cool career opportunities in the Triangle’s startup community, and publishing them every so often on ExitEvent.

This month’s batch includes a mix of companies from around the Triangle, from cryptocurrencies to productivity apps to paperless receipts to HR tech. The types of positions range from sales and marketing to software development and design.

SAVO

This Raleigh startup, which also has offices in London and Chicago, is growing the customer base for its sales development platform popular among Fortune 1000 companies. SAVO provides content, coaching and insights throughout the whole process of a sales cycle. Teamworks

With a collaboration platform used by sports teams, departments and organizations (including the NCAA) and a new deal with the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Durham startup founded by a former Duke University football player is moving fast. Moogfest

The organizers of the annual music/art/technology festival in Durham are looking for an editorial manager to help further develop and manage the Moogfest voice on social media and in the general online domain. Applications must be submitted by November 1 at 5 p.m. More information here.

Isaiah

Chapel Hill-based Isaiah is building a comprehensive tool for mining, storing, trading, and sending and receiving payments with cryptocurrencies. The startup is looking for a software engineer to help develop the product. More here.

Shoeboxed

Durham’s Shoeboxed has a series of platforms to help users “go paperless with accurate, verified data.” Through their mobile devices, users can scan and organize receipts and business cards to archive in a secure location. The startup needs a mobile developer to help design, build and implement features and improvements to new and existing apps, and a marketing and PR intern to assist with press outreach, social engagement and creative content creation to spread the word about Shoeboxed’s new product, Fetch. By helping employers hire from referrals, this Cary-based HR tech startup can connect job seekers to companies that best fit their skill set. The EmployUs mobile and web platform opens an employer’s network to job candidates who are ready to engage in a new position. Council for Entrepreneurial Development

North Carolina’s central network of entrepreneurs and investors is looking for someone to manage its Connections to Capital program, which introduces early stage, high potential startups to interested investors. Celldom

This biotech company has spun out of Duke University to develop an automated single cell analysis platform for building cancer treatments that are more innovative and effective than existing solutions. Celldom’s target market is the research and biopharma sectors, both of which can benefit from the platform to make better treatments for cancer. Adwerx

This Durham software company helps Realtors better target potential home buyers through online advertising. Adwerx is growing fast with a recent $4.4 million funding round and a spot on the Inc. 500 list, and the company is setting initiatives to expand to new verticals. It’ll need some new team members to help with the effort—roles include two developers, a corporate marketing director, an inside sales representative and a customer success representative. Duke University student-founded Fathom (formerly BioMetrix) has a wearable AI device that tracks and interprets athletes’ movement data, and helps them personalize training to fit their individual biomechanical needs. The goal is to monitor risk factors and improve the quality of athletes’ training so they can better reach their potential. First

This venture-backed Durham startup has a platform for real estate agents that uses predictive analytics and machine learning to determine who in their network is most likely to buy a home at any given time. The platform also suggests ways for agents to target them, and integrates with leading real estate technologies to make it easier to do so. Freedom

This Durham startup has developed an app to prevent distraction at work or school by blocking users from getting on their devices or apps. Freedom is used by more than 500,000 people to improve focus and productivity. With the influx of new users, the company will need to hire more developers, specifically a junior full stack developer and a mobile and desktop software engineer.

Xistance

This Raleigh startup has a web-based platform that lets users create timelines, maps and family trees to memorialize loved ones and preserve their family history. The company is looking to add a mobile web developer to help build out the app’s front end. Job description here.

This Cary-based edtech startup helps schools all over the U.S. adopt mobile technology to better serve students, who increasingly look to smartphones and tablets as vehicles for learning. This startup is diligently growing sales for its AI-powered commercial loan pricing and management platform. As PrecisionLender continues to boom in North Carolina markets, it’s adding more skilled individuals to its offices in Charlotte and Cary. Raleigh-based Stealz is a platform that lets businesses offer rewards to customers in return for promoting their brands through tweets, photos and social media posts. Since its start in 2012, the startup has built a base of avid users and high profile customers like McDonald’s and Taco Bell, all while growing revenue and team headcount. Stealz just landed $2.3 million from 36 investors and as it strategizes ways to integrate services into corporate brand apps, the startup is hiring in design, sales, marketing, quality assurance and customer success. Raleigh-based CompostNow collects food scraps from residents and businesses throughout the Triangle, as well as in Asheville. The service provides containers for people to store their household waste (like bones, meat, dairy or pizza boxes) and stops by every week to collect compostable materials exchange for a new, clean bin. Members then earn compost from the service, which can be delivered to them for individual or community gardens.
