The massive data breach at Equifax affecting personal data of 143 million Americans provides another reason why you should attend WRAL TechWire’s next Executive Exchange event which tackles the issue head-on. Don’t put your company or data at risk. New York’s attorney general has already launched an investigation of Equifax. Does your company want to face investigators?

“The Equifax breach has potentially exposed sensitive personal information of nearly everyone with a credit report, and my office intends to get to the bottom of how and why this massive hack occurred,” said Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on Friday.

A nerecent report from consulting firm McKinsey & Company stresses the increasing importance of cybersecurity for corporate networks as the Internet of Things becomes ever-more pervasive.

“The rapid growth in the Internet of Things (IoT) is changing the game. Cybersecurity is more relevant and challenging than ever, and companies need to build capabilities in this area—quickly,” McKinsey reports.
