Fast-growing WeWork is confirming that it will open a coworking space operation in Raleigh.

In an announcement published on its website, the company, which already has operations worldwide, said it will open an office at 1 Glenwood Avenue.

“[F]loors of coworking and private offices” will be offered, the company, which recently raised $500 million in investment capital, says.

No opening date nor pricing information is yet available.

WeWork says its plans call for “accommodating a community of 1380 + members in approximately 81,000 square feet.”

WeWork will work with Heritage Properties, the developer of One Glenwood, the company added in an announcement.

“We’re honored to have an innovative, forward-thinking company like WeWork choose One Glenwood,” said Ryan Blair, Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at Heritage. “It validates the project and the intent behind our design to create a modern, amenity-rich, collaborative office building in one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods.”

Interested parties can “book a tour” to see what is coming.

WeWork will enter a market where competitors American Underground, HQ Raleigh and other sites have flourished.

Space for one worker to 100 employees will be available with month-to-month leases offered.
