Google is partnering with Durham Mayor Bill Bell to host a free workshop designed to help Durham businesses get online with a website.

The event is set for March 23 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Cotton Room.

The small business workshop is designed to help local businesses reach more customers by getting online. Business operators will be taught how to get on Google Search and Maps for free and how to promote their business with a free website and advertising.

Small businesses in Durham can go http://www.togybo.com for more information about the workshop.

According to Google, 55 percent of small businesses across the U.S. still don’t have websites.
