Xistance

This Raleigh startup is getting ready to launch a web-based platform that lets users create timelines, maps and family trees to memorialize loved ones and preserve their family history. The company is looking to add a senior full stack developer to its team to help get to market. More here.

Spoonflower

Through services that involve printing unique designs on fabric, wallpaper and gift wrap on-demand, this Durham company, which also has an office in Berlin, is pioneering the global field of digital textile printing. Spoonflower will soon add a search engine marketing (SEM) analyst to the marketing team in an effort to increase traffic, conversion rate and customer value. Read more and apply here.

Archive Social

This civic tech startup is growing fast, most recently landing The White House as a client. Its social media preservation tools take tweets, posts and photos shared by the president and over 100 accounts affiliated with his administration, and redirect them to an easily searchable post archive site. The growth is requiring more staff—open roles include account executive, sales development representative, director of marketing and a pair of software engineers. Listings here.

The Iron Yard

A well-recognized name in the world of coding education is South Carolina-based The Iron Yard, which offers computer science programming classes throughout the U.S. The school has two Triangle campuses in Raleigh and Durham, where it’s looking to fill positions for two traveling Java instructors and a student enrollment representative. Details here.

UNC Chapel Hill Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center

As part of the biostatistics department within the university’s school of public health, the CSCC provides study design, data management, statistical analysis, quality assurance and other study management services to projects mainly funded by the National Institutes of Health. The center is on the hunt for someone to lead the design and implementation of web applications that’ll be used to manage activities in clinical trials and longitudinal studies. For more information, send inquiries to the center’s general email address here.

FilterEasy

This Raleigh startup founded in 2012 by two NC State students is changing how consumers manage their air filters. The company provides an online subscription service for air filters to be delivered straight to your door when it comes time to change them. FilterEasy is adding a pair of developers, a graphic designer and an enterprise sales lead to its team. Descriptions are here.

RevBoss

The Durham sales management software company is growing the team as it continues to sell its software-as-a-service product that automatically generates qualified sales and marketing leads. Open positions at RevBoss include a VP of engineering, a business development representative and a software engineer. More information here.

MindSumo

This Google Ventures-backed startup is a unique job-matching platform where college students can earn money and employment offers by solving problems (aka “challenges”) that are posted by businesses. The San Francisco company, which expanded to the East Coast in 2014, is on the hunt for a client relationship manager to work at its Durham office. The job involves guiding new and returning clients through their experience.

Internships through SBTDC

The NC Small Business and Technology Development Center is sponsoring 12 local company internships for UNC-Chapel Hill and NCCU students this summer. The center is calling companies to submit potential projects for student interns to work on this summer. TransLoc

The team at TransLoc is revolutionizing transit with apps, on-demand transportation options and powerful analytics for public transit agencies. It’s growing fast, with a massive $8 million series A round last year and a new partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The company is seeking a customer support specialist and sales development representative. Unity Digital Agency

This open-source, open-access web tool creator is a pending B Corporation based in Raleigh, and has opportunities for local developers to join its effort to make the web more sustainable and accessible. Right now, Unity Digital Agency is looking for a WordPress developer to help with crafting websites. It’s a part-time contract position with opportunities for full-time employment. Details here.

Bright Wolf

This company has a case study-tested product that provides a highly secure and cloud-compatible data center for clients in the IoT industry. A pair of positions are open at its Durham office for senior development lead and hardware lab technician. Bright Wolf wants people with “strong drive, relentless curiosity, the desire to create their own path, the ability to work collaboratively and the passion and leadership to make an impact.” More here.

This Raleigh startup is shaping the budding drone industry with technology that turns drone data into valuable insights. PrecisionHawk is growing fast (hiring a new CEO this week) and needs to fill five positions in sales, mobile development and client project management. A Morrisville startup with software for creative production management, inMotionNow needs to grow its team in preparation for faster growth.
