General Assembly

Since its humble beginnings as a coworking space in 2011, the NYC-based education startup has grown into a global education community that help students build in-demand skills in technology and innovation, while connecting them to future employers and professional alumni. General Assembly just opened a campus in Raleigh this year and is on the hunt for a City Lead to raise awareness and build operations for market expansion. More on the position here.

Moogfest

Here’s a job that deviates from the kinds of positions we usually add to our list, but we’re including it because of festival’s role in complementing and celebrating the Triangle’s startup community. The organizers are looking to hire a head of artist relations in Durham for the months leading up to this year’s festival in May. The part-time position involves working alongside the festival’s programming director—before and during the festival—to line up and manage the best talent for the event. Read more and apply here.

The position also involves helping develop fresh apps that build off of the existing suite. More here.
