Jennifer Bosser has left her position as executive director of the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster and joined the City of Raleigh as senior business retention and expansion manager.

The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster, a program of the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, is an initiative of business, government, academic and nonprofit leaders focused on accelerating the growth of the Research Triangle Region’s cleantech economy.

Harvey Schmitt, of the Triangle Regional Partnership and President Emeritus at the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, said she has not been replaced and a committee has been formed to find a successor.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jennifer both at the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and at the Partnership.,” Schmitt said. “She is an outstanding economic development professional. She totally understands customer service and the role it plays in successful job retention efforts. She is the total package and the city is lucky to have her.”

Bosser was previously assistant executive director of Wake County Economic Development, a program of the Greater Raleigh Chamber, a position she held from 2010 to 2015.

Prior to that, Bosser was vice president of executive engagement and enterprise strategy at the North Carolina Technology Association.
