Looking for a job in high tech? Nearly 1,000 jobs from more than 15 Triangle area companies will be available at the “Come Tech Out” job fair today in Raleigh.

Among the 16 highlighted employers participating are Cisco, SAS, and Allscripts.

The event is set for Thursday at the McKimmon Conference & Training Center in Raleigh.

Hundreds of job seekers are already registered to attend.

“There are a variety of employers and opportunities represented at this fair, with positions at all levels available,” said Brooks Raiford, CEO of the North Carolina Technology Association. NCTA is putting on the job fair in partnership with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Work in the Triangle.

The job fair opens at 8:30 a.m.

Job seekers are admitted free.

Positions are available in:

Software Development, Web Development, IT & Project Management, Software Engineering, IT Support & Security, Cloud Computing, QA, Account Management, Customer Service, Technical Training, Sales & Business Development, Marketing and more.

Employers scheduled to participate include: Allscripts, Carolina Computer Learning Systems, Cisco, Dude Solutions, DynPro, Entrinsik, Genohm, iContact, inMotionNow, LexisNexis, Pivotal, Premier Research, Resolvit, SAS, Verscend, Vidant Health and more.

Employers participating in the Job Fair will also post select job openings on NCTA’s Job Board. These positions will be featured via Twitter @NCTAjobs and the hashtag #ComeTechOutNC to reach job seekers from outside of the region.
