  • Innovatours

The third annual Innovatours from Innovate Raleigh is set for Friday, June 3.

“We’re packing two pop-up marketplaces with 65 businesses, bars, music + interactive stops set to wow you. Plus, take a walk on our star studded, curated map of brick + mortar businesses, as well as co-working spaces that will have their doors open + ready to welcome you,” the organizers say.

  • Brad Feld in Charlotte

On June 1, Brad Feld, Managing Director of Foundry Group, will be in Charlotte to discuss Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. This is a rare appearance by Feld, who ceased business travel for a year in 2013-2014, and has been selective in his travel since then. Prior to co-founding Boulder, Colorado-based Foundry Group, he co-founded Mobius Venture Capital and Intensity Ventures. Feld is also a co-founder of Techstars and the author of Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City. His talk immediately follows the Queen City FinTech Demo Day and is hosted in partnership with the Charlotte Entrepreneurial Alliance.
