At YouTube on Monday, Wake Forest-based FokusLabs officially launched its “RE-vibe anti-distraction” wearable band.

True to the company’s them of short and simple, the video touted simply:

“A quick video that explains RE-vibe, a new, anti-distraction wearable for kids (and adults) in 1 minute.”

What is it?

“RE-vibe is a wearable wristband that approximates when a wearer is distracted and with a small vibration, gently reminds the person to return to the task. It works because of the proprietary algorithms imagined and created by the school psychologist-turned-entrepreneur founder of FokusLabs, Rich Brancaccio,” reported Amy Huffman for ExitEvent earlier this year.

FokusLabs got its start with a crowdfunding campaign back in March.
