With 175 college students as ambassadors around the U.S. and patents for its unique designs, Brewsees Eyewear will soon launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise money and tell the world about its sunglasses optimized for opening bottles or shotgunning beers.

In a presentation that elicited a whole lot more laughter than the typical software company pitch, co-founder Jonathan Castellanos shared details of his company’s exponential growth in 2015 and plans for marketing and product expansion in months to come.
He was joined by the Durham-based co-founders of eSecureSend, a just-launched service for sending huge files, and Tom & Jenny’s, a healthy candy company in the running for the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream contest happening in New York City in December.
