It took less than a week for the late-night comics to take aim at the so-called “female Viagra.”

So what’s the biggest risk in taking the ‘female Viagra” AKA officially as Flibanserin from Raleigh’s Sprout Pharmaceuticals if the FDA approves it?

Having the pharmacist say over the PA system: “Female Viagra for Linda.”

So said Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show in an hilarious “Pros and Cons: Female Viagra” segment Wednesday night.

In a 2-minute “pro” contrasted with “con,” Fallon had the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” audience howling.

A couple of comments are a little too risque to put on a family web site.

But there’s the Fallon-staff-created name: “She-alis” rather than the official name (which Sprout plans to market as Addyi.)

And how the drug to treat lack of sexual desire in women could mean billions for the “Shades of Grey” empire.

Then there’s how the drug’s effects could be reduced by “just one stupid thing said by a man.”
