You might remember Track2Quit as the Judge’s Choice at last year’s LuLu eGames at NC State, or perhaps from a demo at this fall’s CED Tech Venture Conference. Co-founder Kyle Linton gave the full pitch at last week’s 1 Million Cups, sharing a broad mission to help people quit smoking using a smart cigarette case and technology platform.

He was followed by Albert Chou and Droparoo, an app that offers members (both free and premium) deals on skateboarding and gear, but only if they bid on an item or reserve a price before it disappears. He calls it “Alibaba meets Priceline.” Chou plans to expand to other niche markets.

Both men shared their stories at last Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups, the Kauffman Foundation-sponsored meetup held weekly in cities around the world. More on the local 1 Million Cups chapter here.
